Once your AWS account is set up, you can proceed with configuring SES for your email marketing campaigns.
1. Verify Your Domain: Before you can send email using SES, you need to verify the domain you'll be sending from. Go to the SES Console, navigate to Domains, and follow the instructions to verify your domain.
2. Request Production Access: By default, new SES accounts are in the SES sandbox environment, which places restrictions on the number of emails you can send. To lift these restrictions, you need to request production access. This can be done via the SES Console as well.
3. Set Up IAM Roles: Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles allow you to control who can access your SES resources. Create IAM roles for your team members and assign appropriate permissions.
